Service Description
Building Bridges to Better Health Outcomes through an Inequitable History is an interactive workshop that utilizes a historical lens to deconstruct inequitable health care practices to create a new timeline to develop a strategic plan for a better future for patient/client care. In this workshop you will learn how to: ● Identify the historical barriers of clinical care guidelines ● Deconstruct the barriers associated to health disparities data using the identity markers: race, ethnicity, culture and language ● Evaluate missed opportunities for connecting through implicit bias vs implicit perception ● Implement communal strategies to invest in changing outcomes in care in partnership between patients and practitioners
Cancellation Policy
Upon booking a course with Melinated Moms University, you will receive an invoice to secure your selected date. A remaining non-refundable deposit of 10% is required to confirm your date, and this deposit is automatically applied to the overall booking fee. This deposit secures your chosen service date and is an essential part of the overall consultation fee. A full list of additional fees will be determined during the consultation when finalizing class arrangements. Some fees include: Virtual platform In-person facilitation Additional facilitators based on the size of the class participants Pricing is based on a minimum of 10 participants and cannot be prorated for less than 10 participants. To facilitate accurate billing, please confirm the attendee count at least 10 days before your event. Full payment is required 72 hours before the scheduled service date.
