Welcome to the group! This group is for moms and parents who have given birth for the 1st time, adopted a baby for the first time or had a baby after a significant amount of time (5 years or more).

As a new mom, there’s so much advice out there and a ton of expectations on how we should prepare for parenting. I remember when I had my oldest—I was reading ALL the books, asking every mom I could find for advice, and signing up for every class that promised to help me be the "perfect" mom. 😅 But let me tell you, I learned pretty quickly that perfection doesn’t exist, and my baby was going to show me that she was going to be her own little person—and I was going to have to adjust to her! 🙌
